Ochieng has been the force behind the environmental care at the new SINAM plot, where he has managed to tame rough stones and rugged terrain into vegetable and maize producing ground. Ochieng is a dedicated worker, honest and people-friendly, qualities which have endeared him to SINAM’s neighbours at the new site. He is keen to establish a self-sustaining garden on the new plot and has embarked on this mission with a lot of enthusiasm and creativity. Ochieng has a lot of experience with gardening from his early childhood and has could apply this in a much more pragmatic and professional manner.
